Several years ago, I came across the whole dog-school experience by coincidence. A friend of mine had a Labrador bitch and asked me if I was interested in coming along. Because I only had a small Maltese dog, I went searching for a some what bigger dog. That’s how I stumbled across the Toller-race, and fell in love with it.
Chivas is the youngest and is always in the mood to play, swim or "pull some pranks".
Inside he's a very quiet and easy going dog, but once outside he puts on his typical toller-face (that you probably all know), as to say, come on boss lets do something.
That’s how I started doing Fly ball with him, so he would have a sport where he could lose some energy.
After that I also started training on hunting with him, because a Toller is a multisided dog he needs loads of things to do.
Scully is the oldest of the 2 Tollers I have, she came to life with us by pure coincidence. But meanwhile she has stolen the hearths of many, especially that of my boyfriend, Stefan. She's always in the mood to play fetch, to be caressed or hugged. She's an Overall sweet dog!
When we go on holiday, our Tollers are always the first to jump in the car. As to say, "Are we there yet? “ Everyone that knows a Toller will know what that means. What more does a Toller need to be happy, then when he can play in the snow, sun, near water or the sea and on the beaches? But most of all, when Tollers feel loved; they will be at their happiest.
